Batchworth Sea Scouts Group is a registered charity (Charity Number 302621) and operates as an independent group under the structures of our governing body, The Scout Association. We are part of the Rickmansworth and Chorleywood Scout District, and in turn part of the Hertfordshire Scout County.
We comply fully with all the policies and procedures as mandated by The Scout Association and The Charity Commission. We have adopted the Group Constitution as published by The Scout Association
The Group is run entirely by volunteers, giving their time at no reward towards the management of the activities and the leadership of our youth sections. Governance of the Group ultimately lies with our Trustees, with day-to day operations managed by the Leadership Team:
