Batchworth Sea Scout Group - Green Beret 1998

The Green Beret Competition is held every November, and is open to all scouts in Hertfordshire.  In 1998 it was held on 14th - 16th November.

We drove to a Tolmers Camp Site on Friday night, and had to pitch our patrol tents in the dark. This year Batchworth Sea Scouts decided to camp with two other scout groups in our district - 1st Rickmansworth Scouts, and 1st Chorleywood Scouts. The leaders of all three troops joined forces, and soon got the evening meal on the go, we all ate together in one large mess tent.

We entered five teams (six lads in each team) from Rickmansworth and Chorleywood District, some teams were made up from mixed troops. We had great fun - here are some of the pictures.
