 Batchworth Sea Scout Group - About Us

Officially we are 2nd Rickmansworth and Chorleywood Sea Scout Group No. 2007 (Open) - Registered Charity Number 302621, However, we are known as Batchworth Sea Scout Group. You can find our headquarters at Batchworth roundabout and there re directions and a map to help locate it on our how to find us page.

The following sections are currently active at Batchworth are:

Batchworth Sea Scouts are proud to have an association with HMS Cumberland (pictured on the right).  Our recognition by the Royal Navy is described on our website page Royal Navy.  You can also learn about the history of Batchworth Sea Scouts on our Group History page.

Our emphasis is on safe fun with a preference to water based activities. The Scouting information website, called Scoutbase, contains answers to almost any question that people ask about scouting and is also an invaluable resource for leaders and helpers.  Please feel free to click on the logo on the left to visit Scoutbase.

We rely on volunteers at batchworth Sea Scouts and we are always on the look out for anyone that would be willing to help out, even on an occasional very limited basis.  If you feel you can help please do contact us and have a chat.
